Publication Ethics

The Journal of Advanced Analysis and Applications (JAAA) adheres to the highest standards of ethical conduct in scholarly publishing. The journal follows internationally recognized guidelines for integrity and transparency in research dissemination.

Responsibilities of Authors

  • Authors must present original work and ensure that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Proper acknowledgment of sources, prior work, and relevant literature is required.
  • Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable and will result in immediate rejection or retraction.
  • All authors must have significantly contributed to the research.
  • Guest authorship, honorary authorship, and ghostwriting are strictly prohibited.
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and relevant financial or personal relationships.
  • Authors must include all necessary permissions for reproduced materials.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must treat the manuscript as a confidential document.
  • Reviews should be objective and constructive, free from personal bias or hostility.
  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest (academic, financial, or personal).
  • Reviewers should provide feedback within the agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Reviewers must not use any unpublished material from a manuscript for their own research.

Responsibilities of Editors

  • Editors must evaluate manuscripts on the basis of intellectual merit, relevance, originality, and clarity.
  • Editorial decisions are independent of nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, or personal characteristics of authors.
  • Editors must maintain confidentiality of submissions.
  • Editors must not use unpublished information from manuscripts for their own benefit.
  • Editors must take responsible action when ethical complaints arise, including correction, retraction, or clarification when necessary.

Plagiarism Policy

All submissions undergo plagiarism detection using standard software.
Manuscripts containing substantial similarity with previously published work (without proper citation) will be rejected immediately.

Data Integrity and Reproducibility

Authors must ensure:

  • correct and accurate presentation of results
  • integrity of numerical and experimental data
  • availability of source data upon request (when applicable)
  • no fabrication, manipulation, or selective omission of results

Corrections and Retractions

If a published article contains significant errors or ethical issues:

  • a correction note will be issued for minor mistakes
  • in cases of serious misconduct or fraudulent data, the article may be retracted
  • authors and editors will cooperate to ensure transparency and scientific integrity
  • corrections and retractions are clearly linked to the original article. In the case of a retraction, the DOI remains active and resolves to a page clearly indicating the article’s retracted status, and the corresponding Crossref metadata is updated accordingly

Compliance with Ethical Standards

By submitting a manuscript to JAAA, authors agree to abide by the ethical standards of the journal and to cooperate with any investigation related to ethical concerns.

Complaints and Appeals

Authors, reviewers, readers, or other interested parties may submit complaints or appeals concerning the journal’s editorial processes, published content, or ethical matters by contacting the journal at its official email address. All complaints and appeals will be handled objectively and confidentially. Where appropriate, the matter will be reviewed by an editor who was not directly involved in the original decision.

Generative AI Policy

Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors and cannot assume responsibility for submitted or published work. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and proper attribution of all content in their manuscripts. Any substantial use of generative AI in the preparation of a manuscript should be transparently disclosed. Editors and reviewers must preserve the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and should not upload confidential manuscript content to publicly accessible generative AI tools.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, or other relationships that could influence, or reasonably be perceived to influence, the submitted work or the editorial decision-making process. Editors and reviewers with a relevant conflict of interest must recuse themselves from the evaluation of the manuscript.
